School Visits

AVA PetPEP school visits are available to primary and junior secondary schools throughout Queensland.

In other states it is an online resource that can be accessed by AVA vets and schools.

Schools are encouraged to contact their local vet to organise a visit. Vets can then access the online resources. AVA PetPEP school visits are an ideal tool to introduce or consolidate classroom learning and address outcomes in a number of Key Learning Areas.

What are schools saying about PetPEP?

'A thoroughly enjoyable visit for all students Prep- 7, we all learned lots about caring for wildlife and students appreciated this as they often come across injured wildlife. Our Prep students love Mal (Council Mascot) and all students now know how to approach an unknown dog and what to do with an aggressive animal. Thank you for this wonderful service.'
